This policy explains what Quickthumb ("we", "us") collects and how we use it.

What we collect

Account data — your email address and authentication details.
Photos you upload — the face photo you optionally upload to appear in your thumbnails.
Generation data — the video URLs you submit, public video metadata we fetch (title, description, channel), the prompts we build, and the thumbnails we create.
Basic usage logs — to operate and improve the Service.

How we use your face photo

If you upload a face photo, we treat it as sensitive likeness data and process it only with your explicit consent — the consent checkbox you tick before uploading is the legal basis for processing it. Specifically, the photo is:

stored in a private storage bucket — it is never publicly readable, and our AI providers receive it only through short-lived, expiring signed links;
sent to Replicate & Google (Nano Banana Pro) to generate your thumbnails, and to Anthropic for an automated check that the photo contains a single clear face (we only detect and count faces — never identity recognition);
not sold, and not used to train AI models.

We keep only your most recent photo — uploading a new one deletes the previous one. You can remove your photo in the app at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@quickthumb.app.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We share data with the providers needed to run the Service:

Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
Replicate & Google (Gemini / Nano Banana Pro) — AI image generation (receives your uploaded photo and prompts).
Anthropic — generating short text hooks from your video metadata, and an automated face-presence check on an uploaded photo (counts faces only, never identity).
YouTube Data API (Google) — reading public metadata for the URL you submit.
Vercel — application hosting.

Cookies

We use cookies for sign-in sessions and to remember your language preference. We do not use them for advertising.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. Your uploaded face photo is handled more strictly: we retain only the most recent one (a new upload deletes the previous), and you can remove it in the app at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data — including photos and generated images — by emailing support@quickthumb.app.

本ポリシーは、Quickthumb（以下「当社」）が取得する情報とその利用方法について説明します。

取得する情報

アカウント情報 — メールアドレスおよび認証情報。
アップロードされた写真 — サムネイルに登場させるために任意でアップロードする顔写真。
生成データ — 入力された動画URL、取得した公開メタデータ（タイトル・説明・チャンネル）、生成に用いるプロンプト、作成されたサムネイル。
基本的な利用ログ — サービスの運用・改善のため。

顔写真の利用方法

顔写真をアップロードする場合、当社はこれを取扱いに注意を要する肖像データとして扱い、あなたの明示的な同意がある場合に限り処理します（アップロード前にチェックする同意ボックスが処理の法的根拠です）。具体的には、写真は次のように扱われます。

非公開（プライベート）のストレージに保存され、一般に閲覧可能になることはありません。AIプロバイダへは、有効期限の短い署名付きリンク経由でのみ渡されます。
サムネイル生成のため Replicate・Google（Nano Banana Pro） に、また写真に明瞭な顔が1つ写っているかの自動チェックのため Anthropic に送信されます（顔の有無と数の検出のみで、個人の識別は行いません）。
販売することはなく、AIモデルの学習に利用することもありません。

保持するのは最新の写真のみで、新しい写真をアップロードすると以前のものは削除されます。アプリ上でいつでも写真を削除でき、アカウントおよび関連データすべての削除は support@quickthumb.app へのご連絡で請求できます。

委託先（サブプロセッサ）

Supabase — 認証・データベース・ファイル保存。
Replicate・Google（Gemini / Nano Banana Pro） — AI画像生成（アップロード写真とプロンプトを受領）。
Anthropic — 動画メタデータから短いフック文言を生成、およびアップロード写真の顔の有無の自動チェック（顔の数のみ・個人識別なし）。
YouTube Data API（Google） — 入力URLの公開メタデータ取得。
Vercel — アプリケーションのホスティング。

クッキー

ログインセッションと言語設定の保持にクッキーを使用します。広告目的では使用しません。

データの保持と利用者の権利

アカウントが有効な間、データを保持します。アップロードされた顔写真はより厳格に扱い、保持するのは最新の1枚のみ（新しいアップロードで以前のものは削除）で、アプリ上でいつでも削除できます。写真や生成画像を含む個人データへのアクセス・訂正・削除は、support@quickthumb.app へのご連絡で請求できます。
